Welcome to March, everyone! If you’re like me, you’re wondering how in the world can it be March already!?!!? I can’t believe we are in the third month of 2016, and it seems with every new year that goes by, the faster time goes.
I’m not sure what your weather was like today, but it was snowing bad here in Michigan. Like they say, in like a lion, out like a lamb. So if this saying holds true, I can’t wait for the beautiful weather that’s just up ahead.
So I wanted to touch base with everyone because March is a BIG month! There are a lot of things coming up, and you just have to know!
First, let’s look at holidays. March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day? Do you celebrate it? We do a little. I have us all wearing something green, and in past years I have made foods that were all green. It’s really fun, but does take a lot of planning. March 25 is known as Good Friday, and March 27 would then be Easter. This Easter I’m looking forward to once again visiting my brother’s church to hear him preach. I’m thankful he was given another opportunity and I know he’ll be great. Easter is by far one of the best holidays because we celebrate that our Lord and Savior has risen! Hell could not hold him down; nothing could defeat our God. He is alive!! And because of that, we can live with God forever one day.
March is also a big month for our family because of birthdays and anniversaries. My brother turns 33 this year on March 18! He shares a birthday with one of my cousins and my late grandfather. I’m not sure on dates for anniversaries, but we have a few couples in our family that have all been married sometime in the month of March.
And speaking of which, there’s one important anniversary that I do know the date! March 25 will be when my husband and I celebrate 10 years of marriage!!! I do not for the life of me know where the last ten years have gone, but there’s no one else I would rather spend my life with. My husband is by far thee best person – hands down. He loves me more than I’ll probably ever fathom, and he is just by far my soul mate. I love him so much!
Enough of that. There are other reasons March is a big month. For starters, my debut novel, Growing Up Neighbors, will be on sale for just $0.99 the week of my anniversary. It will start March 24 and go through March 29.
I think the BIGGEST news I need to share is that there is another reason why my book will be on sale. Yes, to celebrate my anniversary. But it’s also to help celebrate the release of book two in my Neighbors series!! That’s right! My next book, NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS, will be released by then for purchase on paperback or kindle. I’m excited about this story, and I know you’ll love it!
